Zedgin De Luca is fun, quirky, and everything exciting. Hailing from his small and quiet hometown in Brgy. Velocity, he started with humble beginnings and big dreams.
VOLLEYBALL.
Unbeknownst to all, Gin starred as the captain of his volleyball team in high school. With his towering height, quick wit, and unmistakable court strategy, he quickly made his way to the top of the food chain, even bringing his team to the Nationals on his senior year. Until now, he still plays volleyball for fun.
KIDS OF MAYHEM.
Gin, alienated from the bourgeoisie atmosphere of his university, figured that there are more spaces for his expression outside the usual (with sports being on the top of the list). With his childhood friend, Nick Torralba, they scouted members for his new vision; a band that perfectly encapsulates the wonders of youth--Kids of Mayhem.
As Gin trudged upon the years of tertiary education, he also discovered new friends along the way. He created music alongside his friends and also got into huge gigs. Aside from the incessant and unnecessary partying, he also spent time developing his niche in composing and producing music.
RADIO CAREER.
On Gin's third year in university, he was given the opportunity to be one of the DJs of Radyo Katipunan. He was nervous at first but soon, he acclimated to the routines of being a DJ. He discovered a new talent in being the charming and soothing voice on air. He made sure that whoever listens to his broadcasts won't get tired of his station. After graduating, still a bit woozy from the high of being the top DJs of his university, he started an online radio called A Shot of Gin.
A SHOT OF GIN.
Is the late night FM station that Gin himself created. It runs for three hours starting from 10 PM to 1 AM. He would often take requests from his listeners and perform shoutouts and even dedications. On some nights, he would play music that he wants to recommend to his listeners. Overall, A Shot of Gin is an interactive experience for his listeners.
GIN'S CIRCLE.
Sometimes, Gin would find himself gravitating towards Youtube. There, he would post videos of himself, mostly talking about this lifestyle, satire, humor, movies, and even gaming. He would also invite close friends and share stories and anecdotes to the world. Gin's Circle is a glimpse into Gin's personal and private world; one that is away from the scrutiny of others.
FUTURE PLANS
Currently, Gin is taking his master's degree in communications to help improve his skills in being a full-time disc jockey.
